What the client asked for:

The client wanted a groundbreaking but secure system to allow users to show that they were in a different country while travelling. A full billing system needed to be integrated and they wanted a system of VPN servers distributed across the globe that were easy to maintain. They needed support for all major OSs - Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, iPhone, iPad and Android. They also required a logo and branding to be developed from scratch.

What we did:

We developed a comprehensive system based on open source protocols, reducing cost and removing the need for expensive software licensing. We also integrated the system with WHMCS, a top-flight billing system and developed a custom plugin to allow the system to automatically create and remove accounts as required.

The website was designed from the ground up to support multiple locations, currencies and pricing structures, with the viewer automatically being redirected to the appropriate website.

We created a fun, exciting logo and brand to go along with it, to improve the friendliness of the site, as it was quite a heavily technical service.

We also produced a full monitoring system to allow the client to monitor the system and notify when servers were approaching capacity.

Before launch, the company was acquired by a major US blue-chip firm in a private acquisition deal due to its technical excellence.
